Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 030

We've had our Argosy Airstream for over 18 months now...

And I can honestly say that God, Annie Lee, and Craig are what got me through 2020.
Truth.
Y'all remember we first saw #AnnieLeetheArgosy at the end of August 2019...
[brought her home September 1, 2018]
and she was in basically good condition... there were definitely things that needed to be done* but we decided early on to

GO CAMPING
in between the working on it all...
It's the best plan for us...
[If you look at the photos in this post you can see many of the changes...]
There's a couple of reasons for this:
1. We've seen too many people who gut it all and get burned out and let it sit in their yard for YEARS before calling it quits...and never camped one night in their dream... and
2. We really believe that if you camp in it [while you're working on it] you can see how you really use it and the functional changes that you want to make - as well as how your decor plans may or may not work into the function of it all.
Let's be clear - we want Annie Lee to look good -
but we are campers at heart and we plan to CAMP.

We  also like to have a cozy living area outside too!
And this is ever-evolving with Annie Lee right now...
[We've camped our entire married life, starting out in tents, then a couple of different pop-ups... then the cub {a hybrid trailer / pop out} then a little motor home... and #LottieScotty before we bought our Argosy Airstream.]
And camp, we did ...
in 2020 we camped 50 days in 13 different campgrounds...
Even with all the technology available now, we love getting out of town to camp...

So - all that to say... we *think* we can see the end of our to-do list...
And I want to do individual blog posts regarding each area we've worked on...

Goodness... she's come a long way, baby...
and paint makes a HUGE difference!
[You can see we pondered on the color for months...]

But, I guess I'll start with the foundation and floor rot...
Coming soon!
