This month's devotional from

 

Illustrated Faith was full of testimonies 

and encouragement from other creatives... 

 I so enjoyed working through #if_markmaker2025 !!

I added a bit to the cover... using the brown paper packaging...

 

 The packaging paper is thin and doesn't add a lot of bulk to the book. [I just taped it in...] I used the stamp on the brown paper and painted WHITE on each area before painting the colors I wanted to show - 

  

 I used the paper from the packaging

 and the envelope to add pages to create on - 

I used a page to reflect on each of the questions that the artists answered throughout the devotional -

 

Then I created a page using the creative inspiration 

of the artist for that section - 

 

Another question answered...

I was creative at a very young age...

  I still have my Raggedy Ann... AND Miss Louise's chocolate chip cookie recipe -

  

I also added in a couple of pages made from the cute envelope the kit came in - 

I love the promise of the rainbow! 

These are hand-drawn with markers and cut out fro the page.

Plus goodies from the kit and a recent photo of spring flowers. 

 

I tried to go back to my 'SHE ART' days with Christy Tomlinson...

I think I need to practice a bit more...

And I pulled out a photo of younger me - just printed on paper, with a few embellishments added... 

Creative Worship -  

Using things from the kit -  

It's always fun to do a 'currently' list - especially about creative favorites, because they can change a bit through the years [or months - or weeks...] 

 

This is possibly my favorite page in the book.. 

LOVE my little barbies [found image on-line] I did for Taleah -

 

I added a little photo of #AishlingtheAirstream [in the hills of Tennessee] to this page focused on my journey as a Believer... 

 

The tip in card is a printable from Illustrated Faith -  

I added more to the back...

[I really do love pages that are all sizes!

What inspires my creativity?

SO MANY Things -  Praying God uses my art to touch others 

so they can see His glorious light!

She is an inspiration to me!

The last section of this devotional

 

 

  talks about the Unblemished Lamb....

And God's redemption plan for us as sinners -  

 

Here we are in Section 4: in the #if_foreverredeemed study - 

 

I'm so glad I created these little cards to add in to give a little "who-what-when-where-how" to the scripture we're studying -

 

Marvelous Grace of our Loving Lord

This song just played over and over in my head as I studied...

And here's another double tip-on 

for the second annotated card... 

 

Jesus is the perfect lamb 

The One Without Sin

And he gave himself as a sacrifice  to atone our sins...

 

So thankful that God walks with us in all the ups and downs in life!!

[And yes, I know there's some doubling of words there - no big deal...] 

The back of my last added page - using some of the kit items 

and printables I had left.

This is the first time I've taken the book apart and had it spiral-ized - 

and I REALLY enjoyed it!

Here we are starting Section 3 in

Illustrated Faith's #if_foreverredeemed 

In this section several scriptures were referenced... 

So I printed out each of the annotated cards and added in them 

in as "double tip-ins", if you will...

 

And I kinda love the layers in my little book -

Also continued using the bits and pieces from the kit -  

 

Plus those 'girls' from the Kelly Bangs ' printable - 

and other bits from a recent printable...

 

Enjoyed learning more about God's covenants -  

They are sacred agreements...

 

God's covenants reflect His character and authority -  

 

The Promise of Redemption

God alone will bring His covenant to completion -

I'm continuing with

  

 Section 2 in @illustratedfaith 's #if_foreverredeemed devotional. 

As I've said before - I added a smaller page I created with the 'who-what-when-where-how' of the scripture.... keeping it very focused on the passage, not necessarily background of the passage.... 

On the back I wrote some thoughts that came to my mind as I was studying...

And added a tip-in with one of the annotated cards to give me more room for notes as I studied... 

 

I'm enjoying this study and how it relates to the blood of Christ covering our sins... 

I used bits and pieces from the kit - 

and of course, some washi...

Oh - and the girls are from a previous Kelly Bang's printable -  

Our God is holy, and He loves [sinful] mankind enough to provide the ultimate atonement for our sins so that we can live in relationship with Him.
