We rarely saw land - and it was rainy off and on all day -
Enjoyed breakfast in our room - arrived later than we'd planned - was pleasantly surprised that the vanilla yogurt was, in fact, plain [my preference...]
These art classes were filled to overflowing every time they were offered!!
Craig wanted to do the pickle ball, but it was canceled due to wind...
We played bingo, a fun time to visit together... No winnings for us.
Lunch in the dining room was SLOOOOWWWW.. . Good, not generous servings - but enough for sure.
Enjoyed the spa, hot tub [no benches] and warm loungers, as well as the private 'retreat' with viewing windows...
Pro Tip: ask for robes to be brought to your room --> so warm and cozy.
LOVED WRAPPING UP IN OUR ROBES AND SITTING ON THE BALCONY -
Napped before dinner.
We opted out of dressy dining and ate at the buffet - basically same foods, just easier to get small amts and sample different things... like a freshly made peanut butter crepe
Went to the Captain's welcome and dance show before 'calling it a night' - but ended up staying out on our balcony past 10pm watching pods of whales blow...pretty cool. - kind of awesome when one breached RIGHT BESIDE the ship!
--- FELT THE BOAT ALL DAY. -Some people say it's bc we're a smaller ship...some say it's the area we're sailing in...
[Learned Holland America was the first to cruise Alaska...over 70 years ago.]
