Y'all know I love a little traveler's notebook,

Right?
Nothing fancy - Just the bare bones of a bullet list to remind me
of all we did while we're on the go...
I usually try to set it up prior to our trip...
And for this one I added in some 'pages' that had already
been completed in a scrapbook class ...
I almost always have enough pages to designate 2 pages for each day of the trip...
And I occasionally add in a tip-in page that's smaller
[because I like different sizes peeping out around each other - ha]
And rest assured - this is NOT a scrapbook -
I use clear tape and glue...
Each night I bullet journal the events of the day...
Big and little things that we want to remember...
I leave space for a roughly 4x4 photo
[but print photos 4x6 and trim...]
Sometimes I print photos while we're on the road...
but usually wait til I'm home to pick up the prints...
And at times I glue two 4x6 photos together
and tape them in as a tip-in also...
You can see we had a wonderful time in rural areas of Florida...
as well as DISNEY! [And of course Santa Rosa Beach - but we'll get to that in a minute...]
Side Note: we've camped at Disney's Ft. Wilderness since 1994...
It's a favorite campground of ours...
And this time we didn't buy park tickets -
But still had a grand time!
Even enjoyed that Dole Whip!
Yum!
We might have to do that again.
[YES, please.]
I think I allowed a few extra pages for the Disney adventure
because I knew we were going to pack a lot in to those days!
So much so, that we stayed an extra day!
Which turned out to be a blessing in many ways...
You can see that there were days when I had a bit more to journal and the photo had to be smaller than the 4x4... and I'm good with that...
The idea behind the TN for me is have the DETAILS [and some favorite photos] available to jog my memory when I get ready to do the scrapbook pages...
I definitely take LOTS [dare I say hundreds?] more photos
than what is in these little traveler's notebooks...
So it's sometimes hard to just pick a few for each day...
[that's why I love the back-to-back photo tip-in.]
Since this was the longest trip we've taken in #AnnieLeetheArgosy I wanted to be sure to include some photos of actual camping things...lol...
And since we added on an extra day to our trip
I added in another tip-in to include photos of that as well...
I also like to have a little pocket to include some of the receipts for things...
It's fun to go back and compare the price for meals and gas - HA.
So. There it is - complete and at-the-ready when I document our trip on real scrapbook pages... And if that never happens? Meh.
It's still documented here.
LOL
