I was given that come out the first week in January...
Erin Bartel's story of Kendra's journey to ultimately find herself
involved more than a few issues that sadly, many people deal with [in
some form or another] in life.
Kendra had written her first novel and thought she'd changed enough details to hide the reality of it all, but...
Honestly? This was a hard book for me to
get into...
but the story is good and speaks to failures in people's lives.
[Ours and other's.]
And as a social worker, y'all know I'm fascinated by the causes of behavior and also how people remember things differently based on their own perspective...
In the end it is so full of forgiveness and reconciliation...
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher [Revell] for review purposes;
all opinions are my own.
Enjoy!
