Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 049

 Gulf State Park
November 2021
After we left Mystic Springs Airstream Park we tagged along with a couple of other Argosy campers to one of our favorite campgrounds -
[Thanks for the photo, Dena!]

And I have to admit, it was kinda fun to see us all caravan
into the campground together...
[pay no attention to our road weary mirror, lol...]
Sure wish others could have joined us!!!
[This was taken at our stop at The Shrimp Basket in Perdido Key for lunch -]
Y'all know we love The Gulf - those few short years of living near the coast when we were first married makes us long for beach time , any time...
And as always - Craig did a wonderful job finagling us into a beautiful site.
[It's a skill that require patience and perseverance that I don't have y'all.]

We love a water view...
[Side note: and it was *just* cool enough to enjoy an afternoon campfire...]
Even when we KNOW [KNOW!] there are gators in there!
This photo was actually taken while we were scooting around the trails...and I'll admit, I DO LOVE TO SEE A GATOR [especially when there is a fence between us like there is in alligator ally... lol...] His name is Lefty, btw.

While our friends did some sight-seeing and shopping we hopped on our scooters and hit the trails that we love so much!
[After having breakfast at Buzz Catz, of course!]

And I have to share with you some shots of #AnnieLeetheArgosy I took with my little super zoom camera from the trail across the lake... [she's just across the street from the bath house you see in the middle of the shot...]

Here she is with just a bit of zoom...
[and pardon the tilt since I didn't edit this one...]
And THERE SHE IS setting right on the water view site.
Love this photo - lol...
But I could get even closer, although there's some 'noise' in this one that keeps it from being sharp and clear... Still...you can even see our little campfire...
It was a PERFECT day to be out and about on our scooters!
The beach was beautiful and the water was calm -
We sure enjoyed relaxing for a a couple of days in one of our favorite places!

And y'all know I love my sweetheart dearly....
and I can be as crazy as he is at times... but I love this photo of us when he brought out the crazy gators to wear ... as a mask... as a neck warmer... or head gear...
And here's proof that he can talk pretty much anyone into anything...
- LOL -
Good times.
Good friends.
Missed those who weren't with us.
GULF STATE PARK
Gorgeous, as always. Few bath houses open as they are still repairing from Sally, I think... But we were told they were expected to open all of them within the week.
