Aishling the Airstream Update No. 060

 Biloxi Bay RV Resort
We are living life on a  whim - and kinda loving it.
We made a last minute decision to take a detour home through Biloxi [Mississippi] so we could check out the venue for next year's CanOpener. [Big Changes in 2027]

And we're happy with the site we chose - lots of room
and lots of birds around... and military jets over the bay...
We went around to the beach [an easy drive] and had lunch at
Shaggy's right on the beach - BEAUTIFUL.
Biloxi has changed through the years [storms can do that...]
And I loved seeing the tree sculptures along the road...
We took time to check out the club house and [heated?] pool
- pretty cool.
Fun Fact: The Gulf Coast Crawl [Airstream] Caravan was there the night we were,
so it was fun to see about 20 shiny brites there!

We sat out behind our camper and just enjoyed the sunshine and the view.
We were up early the next morning to head back to North Alabama...
Moon set was gorgeous!

And the sun was just peeking over the horizon
as we loaded everything up -

Our [semi] traditional 'before we hit the road' photo - ha.
[Glasses are a wonderful thing for these 60+ year old morning eyes - just sayin']
Biloxi Bay RV Resort -
Seems nice enough - large spots... good internet.. not too far from the beach [you have to drive]... there's a small lazy river... Bath Houses: who knows - I didn't go in them...
Pool area and club house is nice with a food truck on site.
