What a sweet book

about several young women of the Amish faith / culture who became friends
after feeling a bit left out in their own communities.
This is the first book I've read by author,  Shelley Shepard Gray
and I enjoyed her writing [and look forward to other books!]

I loved getting to know Mary Margaret and her new friends Betsy and Lilly as they were each going on a solo trip to do some soul searching.
And while the book brings in several others to complete the story of love and forgiveness and growth, this book focused on Mary Margaret and how she learns to accept herself and how much God loves her before she opens up to all that He has planned for her.
Of course it all works out in in the end -
but it was a fun [and joyful!] read getting there.
Spoiler Alert: I found it nice that these 'girls' stayed true to their faith
even after moving away...
NOTE: I received a copy of this book for review purposes from the publisher.
All opinions are my own!
You'll want to grab a copy of your own...
because I'm already looking forward to catching up with these three friends in the up coming sequels!
