about our Thanksgiving week -
We went to New York City!
And did all the things!
Well, not really -- because there's no way
to do EVERYthing in one trip.
So happy that the youngest lives there and can help us navigate.

Balloon Blow Up
the night before the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade -
It was CRAZY crowded... and COLD... but worth it to me to have this
once-in-a-life-time experience.
The Macy's Parade -
Our spot was PERFECT.
The weather was PERFECT.
The crowds were PERFECT.
Seeing the Statue of Liberty from Governor's Island -
a treat to not ride the Staten Island Ferry
with All. the People. Ha.
Sarabeths' on Park Avenue
[Those popovers were divine!]
Our post theater dinner at Barbetta's -
Delicious Italian that bordered on French - SO GOOD.
and of course, at our air b&b...
I made a quick chicken chili one night...
Seeing the Empire State Building
from Matt's office
on the 49th floor...
Hugh Jackman in The Music Man
and the auction afterwards...
Seeing NYC decorated for Christmas
[Saks 5th Avenue]
Time in Astoria
[where Matt and Emma live]
even if it was a rainy day...
All in all a wonderful trip together
with memories that will last a lifetime.
