Hey There! I thought

 I might share a bit of my December album with y'all!!

My goal is to share a bit each week... make me accountable, right?

  I LOVED the album that was gifted to me last year 

[from my sweet friend Shirley with Close to My Heart -] 

so when I found something similar [ON SALE!!] 

at Scrapbook.com  this summer I scooped it up... 

and y'all -- I've already got the foundation for the entire album complete!

CHECK!

And okay... I'm not a 'December Daily' purist  - 

I do NOT put a photo from every day in this album... and

YES! sometimes I pull photos taken at other times [gasp!] to use!

I love this family photo from our fancy dinner

in New York last month SO MUCH - I just had to use it!

So here goes: Our traditional walk through our local Botanical Gardens - 

Usually happens BEFORE Thanksgiving, but is definitely a Christmas tradition...

Oops - you can see that I still need to add the 4x6 of me and Craig in the 'snow!'

And YES! We made a point to watch the Lighting of the Rockefeller Tree live on TV since we'd just been there a few days before - 

It's HUGE and that star on top weighs 900 pounds!

It was cool to go to a planetarium show [at our Space and Rocket Center] that discussed planetary alignments that can be attributed to a BRIGHT star in the East back in 5-7 BC...

And yes. 

Jesus is THE REASON for the season.

This past weekend we had lunch with friends from our Music City Airstream Club.

My kit came with a few of the 6x4 sleeves, so I plan to put my 'MeandMyWeek' posts in there...

And, y'all know we had to join in the hype of 'our' new Buc-ee's nearby, 

so we stopped in on our way back to town...lol...

That's it -

The first week of December.

ALREADY.

And our tree wasn't even up!!

as I leave spaces blank or add in different sizes...

I'm also committed to doing the advent kit from Illustrated Faith - 

And have to admit 

I LOVE OPENING A NEW ENVELOPE OF CRAFTY BITS 

each day!!
