Our last camping adventure for October
was at David Crockett State Park in Limestone, Tennessee.
This is a camping event that our friend Marsha puts on each year,
and is always a ton of fun!!
[No one wants to be stuck with the creepy gnome...]
so we can enjoy the view.
Everyone decorates their campers [all vintage] for Halloween - some in elaborate themes that are so fun...
and others keep it simple, like us.
Who am I kidding?!?
I think we are the ONLY ones that keep it simple...
So I LOVE seeing what everyone else comes up with!
There are pumpkin carving contests
- always fun!
And costume contests -
Again, SO MANY GREAT COSTUMES!!
- We were scout leaders with shirts we picked up at a thrift store
in Salt Lake City back in September, lol...
And time to gather with friends for meals both at the potlucks
and at restaurants like The Farmer's Daughter...
Love the airstream cut-out on it!
And the weather was nice enough to enjoy a warm fire
while we visited with friends -
and it was still warm enough to enjoy being out and about during the day...
and enjoy that gorgeous fall color
on the mountains around us!
We enjoy staying at this state park when we can get a spot near the creek [the other sites are not quite level enough for us -] Bathrooms are clean and neat.
Cell service is good.
