Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 061

Trace State Park
Tupelo, Mississippi
We'd seen photos from friends' camping trips here and
always thought it was a beautiful place...
[Love seeing our #AnnieLeetheArgosy shining at night.]

We arrived late in the evening after traveling from
Nashville to Tupelo along The Natchez Trace Parkway.
Driving the entire Trace is something we've always wanted to do...
And it's beautiful, y'all.
And peaceful... and maybe a little desolate with
its zero cell / internet service in many, many areas...lol...
This was an evening when those back-up cans of soup came in very handy!
And it was delicious while we enjoyed the water view from our site.
Afterwards, we settled in for a good day's rest...

The next morning the sunrise was beautiful
as it awakened us to start another day down The Trace...
This was a quick overnight [reconnaissance] trip for something we're planing for the future and we would have surely enjoyed staying here a day or two more!
[Looking forward to being back here in November!]
My Take:
Beautiful well-kept campground.
Lots of shade - almost every site is water-front.
Combines my love of rustic camping + concrete pads.
Clean bath houses.
Good internet / cell service.
Looking forward to camping here again!
