The last stop on our recent travels was to The Shoals to visit with
Craig's mother... it's always good to have some extra time together-
* Then it was back to a full week for me [HOW DID I EVER WORK?!?**ha.]
* I've had Ladies' Group at church, breakfast with friends, a day full of scrapbooking, a routine doctor's appointment, a hair appointment... hallmark movies, and lunch with friends -
* yard work... and house work...
* ... and I sure enjoyed some catch-up conversations with my sweet family... I mean, texting is GREAT, but sometimes I just need to hear their voices...
** - and I don't even know how to say this, but as I'm around women more and more who've not worked outside their homes, I still feel a little like I'm an observer as I see how they navigate all this 'me' time that I never had in my crazy, busy, blessed working full-time life... as well as how they give their time selflessly [when I've always guarded my time as my most precious commodity...] So...
* All that to say, I'm still adjusting to retirement and asking God to guide my steps daily in this [still new to me] stage of life...
