November re-cap -

 OKAY.
I KNOW I still have some of our camping adventures to share but I'm sorting through and getting ready for 2021 and wanted to do a couple of monthly re-caps [something I've tried to do throughout the year... but alas, it's been soooo 2020, ya know?]
November was a good month...
After our SUPER BUSY October, it was nice to slow down a bit for our long glorious fall here in North Alabama. We enjoyed being out and about - This photo was taken along the greenway in our little neck of the woods... We're fortunate to have wide open spaces so close!
[The photos I'm sharing are in no particular order... lol]
Just one to show that we also spent our fair amount of time on the couch catching up on TV shows we've missed during the pandemic... ha.

Our #AnnieLeetheArgosy has gone back to the welder [a little ways from our house] and we've made a couple of trips there to check on things as this is finished up... also made the decision to go ahead and get new axles while she's over there...
So we stopped by Little River Canyon while we were out and about for her...
so pretty in the fall!
I think I've already shared the delicious [and EASY instant pot 'cheesecake' I made -
And here's just a bit of 'fall' over the stove...
And yes - we are still social distancing, even with those we love most...

The positive numbers have increased incredibly in our area and we know so many people who have been hospitalized, on ventilators, and friends who have lost loved ones to this terrible virus.... so we're doing our best....
But one thing we CAN do is get out in our car and see the beauty of nature...And I think I've shared that my sweet husband is always willing to stop, back up, ETC. for me to get the shot I 'see' in my head as we pass by...

[This is going into Decatur from Huntsville on a misty morning...]
Pic-Tap-Go is my editing go-to.
This somewhere in North Alabama when we were checking out some new [to us] campgrounds... LOVED seeing the reflection of the barn in the pond...

I did A LOT more Bible journaling since I had more time at home with all my supplies...
This idea is straight from the internets... I like using water colors because I can still read the scriptures through the paint...
Also LOTS of zoom gatherings - with family, art groups, etc.
[I'll spare you the photos... but I *AM* getting better with them!]
Early morning sunrise on a run getting supplies for #AnnieLeetheArgosy -
We also had a couple of outdoor [socially distanced] outings -
It seems like we've talking about doing a utility [man hole] cover rubbing for YEARS.
SO we jumped at the chance when Green Pea Press hosted an event downtown.
[I actually contemplated taking supplies to Boston with us to do it... and
HEY - now that I know how to to do it {{SO EASY}} it just may be a regular part of my travels... when we can travel again...]
It makes a pretty unique print - especially if the covers are designed as cool as the ones in Huntsville! [And many city's are!] - Makes for cool Christmas gifts too!

It's our tradition to end November / start the Christmas season with a walk through our Botanical Gardens before the drive-through nights start...
This was the 25th anniversary of the lights... and we think we've been there almost every single year... our kiddos were 5 and 8 the first year...

And we love that these last couple of years they've added a tribute to our long held tradition of seeing Dr. Higgenbothem's lights down in the valley...
This looks SO MUCH like his house...
without Santa and the live reindeer, of course...
So, that's our November 2020.
Still trying to make things as 'normal' as possible
in this anything BUT normal year...
