These are from a class I taught a few years back...

But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village 

among all the people of Judah. 

Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, 

one whose origins are from the distant past.  

Micah 5:2

After reading this verse, I immediately thought of the wonderful Christmas Carol, 

O Little Town of Bethlehem… 

So that’s what I used on my page; you might also use

 Bethlehem Morning by Sandy Patty… 

Music often finds its way to my pages. 

I sketched this out after looking at some Christmas cards… feel free to copy 

[it’s just a series of triangles and rectangles…

 notice the shading, stars, and dots placed closely around the building 

and then spread out as they go away from the buildings. 

Those little extras can give it a finishing touch.   

[Also – LOOK! It’s okay to put your art sideways on the page – 

if this is not for you, then you can make the buildings 

a little taller and thinner to fit the page vertically.]
