Back in the day [pre-COVID 19]...

 I would have occasional weekend get-a-ways with crafty friends... 

and well, y'all know the pandemic has put an end to that for me... 

But we're adaptable and resilient, right?

[I think that's my theme song for 2020 **]

So a recent weekend was FULL of crafty goodness

I started the day with friends who meet monthly for Bible Journaling...

We focused on doing Gratitude pages...

After that I went right into a zoom crop sponsored by Scrapping for a Cure - 

And I've gotta say... 

Y'all.

They are adapting well to these unprecedented times!

We had zoomie crop time and classes over on the [private for this crop] facebook page!

 It was wonderful to have time set aside to enjoy crafting together!!

These are a few pages I created while visiting via zoom in the crop room...

[Photos I found of Sister, Brother, and me during the great office clean out / Christmas 2019 photos on a layout I found that was completed at She Loves Color more than a few years ago / celebrating a favorite person's birthday via zoom / and an Easter page I've had on my scrapbook table for almost a year now...]

The crop fee included supplies for all of the classes 

[and a few extra goodies from the crop sponsors!] 

We had a card making class 

[shown here with another little page I created in the crop room.] 

And there were a couple of other classes - borders made with KiwiLane products, as well as the layout class in the upper right... 

and a challenge to work with triangles...

 I think it worked out so great 

[even with a few techno glitches that no one can anticipate.]

I sooooo enjoyed visiting with these gals that I've not seen in person in so long...

And I'm already looking forward tot he next one!

**Side Note: For the first time in maybe 10-12 years 

I DID NOT choose a word [/ scripture] of the year for 2020 -

[Remember 'one little word'? - link in LABELS to the right.] 

And now I'm thinking either of these two words will be my guiding light 

[other than JESUS, of course] 

for the rest of 2020:

 ADAPTABLE / RESILIENT.

We've met that goal, haven't we?
