Let's do a quick monthly

re-cap, shall we?
Spring is coming EARLY 'round these parts, y'all.
And while I love a bit of snow, I'm embracing spring-time!
My sweetheart has wanted to learn the art of screen printing for several years now, so when he saw this Yudu set-up on a local sale site, he couldn't pass it up --
It's made it easier for him to learn the process of it all...
And I think  he's loving it!
Wow! It goes fast once you start printing!
And I love that it gets the most intricate details!
I started the month at the Joe Wheeler State Park Women's Retreat -
A relaxing get-a-way before a pretty stressful week at work...
We enjoyed some time in NYC -
-- I'll have to do an entire post to share it all --
But we sure enjoyed visiting with this one.

Then we headed straight to The Gulf for The Alabama Conference of Social Work.
We've never seen it so foggy that you couldn't see the water
[ALL. Day. Long.]
I had some photography duties to handle during the conference,
so I am SO HAPPY to share that I am once again a CANON girl!
[Y'all know I've had a love-hate relationship with that little super-zoom nikon I've had these past few years. - I love the zoom, but get frustrated that there's no warning that the battery is about to die.]
This little Canon Powershot has a battery indicator [yahoo!] It's a much improved version of the powershot I've had in the past - has an even better zoom [and pixals too!] than the nikon. Take a look at the fishermen on the beach from our balcony above...
They're near the water line...
Can you see them now?
SERIOUSLY.
Enough said.
We've eaten way too good thise last few weeks -
Including a favorite breakfast in Orange Beach that makes homemade pop tarts!!
Yes, please.
#BuzzCatzCoffeeandSweets we love you!
And I got a little award for 25 years in the social work field.
It's really 35 - but who's counting?
I'm ancient, I know.
Lastly - the days between the rain have been beautiful and KittyLou thought she'd like to be outside for a bit. But tat doesn't lst long before she's watching us through the window, begging to come back inside...
