Y’all know we spread out the holiday cheer as long as possible –

Don’t you too?
So here’s a little re-cap of our Christmasing.
[and you might see EVEN MORE when
I post my take on the Daily December album – coming soon!]

We started the season off with our [becoming] annual tradition of dinner out at the Art Museum [sounds so elegant, but it’s really just an up-scale pizza place…] and walk through the Tinsel Trail with friends. Always beautiful – and a wonderful time to visit and catch up!

We also made a little trip to TN to enjoy Dickens of a Christmas
and REAL Italian food later in the month – good times!

at First Methodist and it brought back memories of Craig's days at Mobile College where this was a BIG part of our Christmas each year...
We enjoyed our family night of gifts and games...

We had our traditional meal of prime rib, creamy mashed potatoes, brussell sprouts, grilled asparagus... and pavlova for dessert this year. Yum.
So nice to have time to JUST BE together on Christmas Eve.
Love our little family!
Later that evening Craig and I went to the midnight service at Trinity and then slept in on Christmas Day and watched our own little Star Wars marathon…

We gathered together with Craig’s family on the 26th.

and Christmas-ed all over again. It’s always fun to share together!
Gr-mother's tree is always beautiful!
And on the 2nd we got together with my family and enjoyed the day.
Thanks to MK for taking this photo!
And a great big thanks to my sweet sister for this special present –
a pillow made from one of our Mama’s Christmas Sweaters – if you look, you can see this is the one she is wearing in the video I share each Christmas…
It's a wonderful way to remember her love for these sweaters
she'd tuck away carefully each year...

We so enjoyed being with family and friends - and love the traditional ending to our year with a meal [usually dinner] at ShoGun -- lunch this year due to the ballgame watchers - lol.
Happy New Year to each of you -
Remember to start each day thinking something wonderful is about to happen!
