Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 079

 The Argonaut Rally

 

We sure enjoyed hosting our argosy friends right here in our home town!

We all met up out at The Space and Rocket Center Campground -

It was really more of a gathering because 

there was only a loosy-goosey schedule of sorts -

 

Some of us enjoyed the Beirgarten at The Davidson Center

and others went for the full Space Center experience the next day!

It's always cool to share our space heritage with friends!

 

And of course we loved seeing the airstream 

that the astronauts were quarantined in!

We had the perfect site to host the group and

enjoyed a taco bar at the campground one night...

 

And pancakes one morning...

Some went shopping /antiquing ...

 

But we mostly just hung out at the campground visiting 

and watching the space campers shoot their rockets -

And enjoyed retrieving some too...

 

Love that the campground backs up to this 

ares for Space Camp -

And OF COURSE - we enjoyed a good campfire!

We think time around a good campfire 

is such a sweet way to visit with each other -

And the weather was PERFECT to enjoy a fire

during the mornings too!

Big Rallys are fun - but I'll admit 

that I enjoy these smaller gatherings a bit more...

I love that everyone feels free to do their own thing and gather together for meals or the campfire [or not, if they're tired.]

Our argosy friends are a great little group!
