Annie Lee the Argosy Update: No. 043

I've already shared with you the campground we used as a stopped over on the way to the Appalachian Argosy Adventure in August.
The Appalachian Argosy Adventures was held at Palmetto Cove RV Park  in Cleveland South Carolina, And since we've never been that area much, it seemed like it was out in the middle of no where...lol...
It was a beautiful area though...
This was our 2nd time to attend Argosy Adventure, hosted by Billy Gregory, and it was fun to see some old friends and meet new Argosy owners as well...
Since we were so far out of town we cooked and ate all of our meals at the camp site. Love that my little [17 inch] Blackstone Griddle fits perfectly on my fold up cart.
[And ravioli stir fry is a quick and delicious meal!]
I also tried baking some [canned] cinnamon rolls - on a pan flipped upside down [and covered to keep the heat in so they actually bake.] Yum.

There was a pretty cool creek [literally] just over the hill from the pavilion and we walked over and sat in our chairs in the water to cool off...
That afternoon a pretty fierce storm blew through and we all had to scamper to get our awnings down quickly. But don't you love this photo of all the colors of the argosy world? So cool.

There were probably 8 or 9 Argosy Airstreams at the rally and we enjoyed visiting with everyone during the pot luck on Saturday evening.
[To me a smaller rally is often more fun as we're able to visit with everyone who attends a little bit more...]
Afterwards we enjoyed a little campfire under pavilion and out of the rain.
It was nice to have a place to hang out and visit.

Palmetto Cove RV Park  in Cleveland South Carolina
Formerly and AIrstream only park...
My take: We were parked in a field [although everyone had full hook-ups] without any type of designated pad, other than a stake with a number on it -
There was zero shade.
Clean bathrooms [no showers], wonderful pavilion and inside gathering area with kitchen... Good cell and internet service.
Doubt we would camp there again unless it was for an event...
