If you are hopping into the middle of our blog hop and you are a Fiskateer, you can start here www.fiskateers.com.
Here's my project - a favorite photo I've been saving for 'just the right' paper [do you do that too?] Most of the paper & embellishments are from Close to My Heart and I also used embellishments from Sassafrass and Simple Stories.
I loooooooooooooooooove Fiskars Boarder Punches! I used "notebook" and "double bubble" on this layout - so fun! And of course a little ode to Fiskateers with orange!
And because I can't leave 'well-enough' alone, and because I LOVE to outline with black pens I took with me when I traveled for work and ended up with this:
- Yes, you can see some wayward strokes - and I may replace the paper in those areas, or I may go back and doodle with the bigger point pen [I used sharpie double point --fine and ultra-fine-- for this.]And the tag turned sideways during travel and I like it like that so it stayed and was outlined.[And WOW! Look at the color difference a sunny day makes in the photo! The first one is probably more true to life-] This layout will go in my 'Just Because' album.
Thanks so much for stopping by! We’ll be hopping all weekend , March 24th and 25th to welcome spring!
I invite you to come back & participate in my
OM[old stuff]Giveaway [see tab above]!
Again, thanks for hopping by… next stop is: Tracy M 6773 www.fiskarscraft.typepad.com

Love the LO Judy and your doodling...I hate when my black permanent pen goes "wayward" when I'm trying to carefully doodle. Thanks for participating in the blog hop!
I LOVE the photo. Very special. Thanks for being part of the HOP.
What a great layout. TFS.
I love how you posted the before outlining and after. I was given this inside tip about a year ago. After, trying it...Wow, Such a difference!
Great photo and colors for Spring!

This is just gorgeosu!
Hey Judy! YES I definitely do the same thing holding onto pics for the perfect paper. C2M♥ usually has that paper that sets the stage too :) Looks good!!!
Happy Spring, Deb♥
Great Layout. I love that picture. It is perfect for this layout. I love how you outline everything. I do alot of that myself. It really enhances the look. Thanks for sharing with us. Amy#8546
Judy, your layout, both before and after, are wonderful! I must say though that I am in love with the after and all the doodles/outlining and tilted tag! The more saturated colors are very nice but I was kinda digging the grayer tones on the first LO--very mysterious feeling with those empty boats! Lovely photography either way!
Love that picture and what you did with it. I love the border punches too.
Beautiful layouts Judy!!!
Love both versions and think that you did a wonderful job with your doodling :)
I have some papers saved for "that special project" and hope to get working on my scrapbooking with them later this year ... cards have been taking up all my crafty time but would love to get back to the good old 12x12's.
love how you used the Notebook Border Punch Judy.....I'm also a punch addict.....LOL!
I love the photos on your layout. I seem to save paper a lot for that special photo. Great job.
that is a pretty picture!
Great layout! I love the tag sideways - looking great!
what a fun layout! As we just moved to the water I'm sure I will be doing similar ones!
Grea layout!
Great Layout!! Thanks for joining in the hop!!
I love your layout Judy and I love that you have a "just because" album. I need to do that too.
Thank you for showing us the two different looks. I think the outlining is amazing and I can't wait to show my Mom the difference it makes. But the very best part of this layout is the photo. It is gorgeous!
Don't you just love it when you find the right paper! :)
Love the layout! Great picture. Too often I forget about the non-people pix I have. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs
Jessica
I love the outlining! It makes such a difference. I didn't notice the wayward marks until you pointed it out. Love it!
Great layout. Thanks for sharing
Awesome photo. I didn't even notice the "wayward" stroke until you said something. Thanks for sharing.

As a matter of fact I do. I have to wait for just the right design for my photos. I just can't settle.
Oooh, love your project. I can see why you've been wanting to do something with that great photo.
I love it! That photo really is great. You did such a beautiful job with it.
Lovingly adorned! TFS!
Judy,
I am never disappointed when I come to your blog! I have so many pictures to scrap, I can't say that I am saving any of them for a spcial paper to come along. However, I do have a paper stackr that I bought because so many of the pages will be perfect for scrapbooking pictures of my sister and me...as soon as I remember that special place I put them. For some reason they are not with the rest of my pictures.
I appreciate how you showed us the before and after of outlining with the black pen. I like to do the outlining too, but thought I was the only one who had the problem of my pen jumping off track when ir is not supposed to =)
What a difference the outlining made. Love it
awesome!!!
I love , love the photo ! I love seeing the fog - great page!
wow outlining makes a huge difference - might have to start doing that.
Great photo. I love water and boats. I really think the doodling enhanced the page.

Great LO and doodling, but that photo is the icing on the cake! You could use that for greeting cards or maybe even sell it to a calendar company! Donna #6036
Your layout is fabulous, I love it as is. I'm a Fiskars border punch fan too.
