Y'all know I love sequels!

Against the Wind, by Amanda Cabot
was a pleasure to read and took me right back Sweetwater Crossing
as Louisa returned home, albeit, grudgingly.
She really wants to practice medicine [and not just as a mid-wife] and her small town is reluctant to accept a woman doctor.
 But God.
He had other plans for her life and worked it all out wonderfully.
It just so happens that Josh Porter was on search for a way to impress his grandfather and ended up needing medical care... and he  realized his search had more to do with finding his own dreams.
Together they set out to solve some mysteries that kept me guessing to the very end.
But honestly their love story was something we all knew would happen, right?
Loved being able to see that Emily [from book 1] got her happily-ever-after...
And I'm looking forward to book 3 and learning more about Joanna's story!
Note: I received a copy of this book from the publisher for review purposes.
All opinions are my own.
This is a sweet little romance set in the 1800s that was a pleasure to read.
I think you'll enjoy it too!
