Yes - There's love and romance -
[and that's not really a spoiler...]
But I think I loved the secondary stories the best!
Irene Hannon did such a wonderful job creating
such believable characters for her newest book
Everyone has weathered storms in their lives and
holds some secret close to their hearts [good or bad]...
This is true not only for Jack and Christi [our main characters] but also for Beth the local boutique owner, Charley the Taco Man, Steve who's in law enforcement, and also young Hannah and Noah...
I love how the author showed their vulnerability and also wrapped up the book telling us a little about how their future might unfold...

Another thing I enjoyed about the book was the foundation of faith that
so many of the characters had... even when they weren't always walking
closely with God...
And it was kinda fun to see how things in their lives seemed to 'click' into place...
Although, Charley the Taco Man would tell us, "My abuela would say that coincidence is nothing more than a small miracle in which God chooses to remain anonymous."
Charley was full of joy and wisdom. One quote that stood out to me was,
"Reading the Bible is easy. Living it is hard. Besides, putting God's words into action can change hearts faster that spouting verses, don't you think?"
And a favorite...
"Everyone stumbles... But even when people give up on God, His love never wavers. He just open His arms and waits to welcome His children back, with all their faults. Reconciliations in the human realm can be difficult, but with God there's no risk of failure or rejection."
I really love that one...
And I wish I had a little photo card with ALL of Charley's wisdom!
This book is wonderful!
I know you'll love it, so go grab a copy today!!
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher for review purposes.
