Lord Alfred the Airstream Update No. 010

 

Our trip to Kansas was planned after I signed up for a 

Faith-booking Retreat at the Whatever House in Newton Kansas.

[There's another post where I share a bit about this wonderful weekend - ]

 

After Craig dropped me off  he headed out to 

Cottonwood Point

in Marion, Kansas

where he had some fun things lined up to do - 

Mainly fishing.

The campground was on the water and 

he enjoyed some beautiful sunsets while there...

He also had a covered picnic table 

[much like we had at the COE in Ponca City -]

 

Y'all know Craig - he enjoyed exploring the area while I was at my retreat... but the problem was - these surrounding towns are SMALL - 

with maybe only one or two restaurants ... 

Still, he enjoyed the fishing 

- in the cool mornings!

And getting to know #LordAlfredtheAirstream a little more -

COTTONWOOD POINT

[And yes those cottonwoods were blooming!!]

Beautiful

Mostly flat sites - 

Good internet and cell

Bathrooms were clean - one was only toilets and changing areas... 

The showers were a ways away...

Obnoxious guy next door took a part off of one of our scooters... 

but that's not the campground's fault.
