Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 057

Davey Crockett State Park
AKA: David Crockett State Park - Lawrenceburg
Y'all know this has been a favorite camping spot of
ours for over 30 years - and we love it still...
So of course when we decided to host a little vintage camping event
a few years back this was our first choice to gather together!

And how fun is it that we've [and by 'we', I mean CRAIG]
have been able to fill "campground two" completely every year?
Craig does a wonderful job with the itinerary and creating community
with a list of each camper / owner, etc.
And this is just a GREAT group of people who share the vintage camper love
and enjoy being together!
The park is beautiful in March as things are just beginning to
wake up after a long winter's nap....
We had several activities - including pot lucks and camper open house...

And we even had a couple of guys come out and sing for us one evening -
We all enjoyed singing along!
Much thanks to Greg and Cindy for setting this up!
While this is a 'local' event for us, we had campers join us
from as far away as Texas and Wisconsin - so fun!
This is Craig's honorary Vintage Camper Support Group shirt from Wisconsin -
Side note: I developed a stomach bug this weekend
and as a result missed quite a few activities...
But, from what I hear,
a good time was  had by all!
Campground Review:
WE LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND.
Great sites!
Clean bath house!
Good internet!
Close to anything you need -
