Annie Lee the Argosy Update: No. 041

 JINGLE IN JULY
Omgoodness, y'all.
If you want to see the sweetest vintage campers all decorated for Christmas,
then this event is a must-do!
And I'll admit that I think those little canned hams [like #LottieScotty] decorated for Christmas are so much cuter than the bigger vintage trailers like our #AnnieLeetheArgosy -
BUT EVERY CAMPER WAS BEAUTIFUL!
I truly am trying to embrace the less-is-more mentality,
but it's Christmas, y'all...
So I ended up taking our blow-mold candles [new from Home Depot a couple of years ago-] and Frosty [of course] along with some decor we've picked up on sale
[and pulled from the attic...]
LOVING the mid-century vibe of this tree I got last year.
It was perfect in the pot I painted to 'match' our camper...
And of course having Frosty nearby was fun!

[The blow-mold Merry Christmas sign came from Cracker Barrel
after Christmas a few years back...]
Omgoodness, our little fluffy flamingos with Santa hats are still hanging in there with us... love how Craig set them up to enjoy a nice campfire throughout the event...
Of course we had our nativity set out on the table -
[This is a precious moments outdoor set we've had for almost 20 years now...]
And since there was an open-house fundraiser [for a group that decorates children's hospital rooms for Christmas] we put a little decor out on the inside as well....
So I put out some plates ... and trees ... and pillows... and garland...
and cute campers with Christmas flamingos...
I added a Santa and more flamingos here and there...
It was fun to decorate a bit [or A LOT, for me -] and also to see all the other campers decorated for Christmas as well. They were awesome!
Google Audrey's Jingle in July to see them all!
We had a great time visiting with friends we've met through this vintage camper hobby of ours, including those who are pretty good practical jokers - ha.

And of course, we took time to ride our scooters all around the campground -
and in the Christmas Parade too!
Much thanks to Chris and Teresa Wilson for all they do to make this a wonderful weekend!
They plan movies, meals, dirty Santa, yard sales, door prizes - just to name a few things...
And they always make sure Santa and Mrs. Clause are able to join us for the fun!
River Plantation -Sun Outdoors RV Resort
My take: a nice BIG campground that is clean and neat.
We noticed that there were many seasonal /owner spots during this visit...
Pool is large and nice - internet / cell service is good...
Easy to get to from the I-40, with mountain views if you're out and about...
