shall we?
I've shared before that many of my creative friends participate in this each year -
Challenging themselves to create SOMETHING [anything] each day for ONE HUNDRED days... this is either the third or fourth year I've joined in -
And I usually do a page / day in my art journal...
But this, year with COVID19, I thought I wanted to intentionally focus on God's Word so I picked up the 100 Days of Less Hustle and More Jesus...
because we were all forced to slow our hustle a bit, weren't we?
So here's a few randomly chosen pages to share -
I started when we made the choice to begin self-isolating as much as possible...
And I set a couple of goals -
One to use as many alphabet stickers as possible [because I have A TON from my scrapbooking hey-day that haven't been used in years ---]
I also tried to treat each page as a separate journaling page that reflected the devotional and what was happening in my life at the time...
And, I guess my third goal was to use two different date stamps
randomly throughout the book
[but I do especially love this giant one from Studio Calico.]
randomly throughout the book
[but I do especially love this giant one from Studio Calico.]
I love how God works and uses His Word to speak to me RIGHT WHERE I AM,
even when these devotionals were written several years ago...
Here's some other pages...
- you can see I used paint, paper, and stickers,
as well as the alpha stickers...
And sometimes I had to use clear tape to hold everything down
because the alphabet stickers were so old...
These last few pages really connected with a couple of different on-line
studies I'm involved with right now...
As well as where I am in life - NOT looking in the rear view mirror,
but seriously planning and looking forward
to stepping through the next gate of big changes in my life.
I'm so glad God's welcomes us at each gate...
And walks with us through each and every change in our lives...
