crazy person during this staycation [ha - ]
While we've not been fully quarantined, we have had a state mandated stay-at-home order, so we've stayed away from other people and I've only been in a store every 10 days or so to get essential items...
It's a different life for sure.
And I'm not much of a television watcher ,
but give me a quick murder mystery and I can read it in one night...
Here's one that took a bit longer
because I had to dig into the details and get to know the characters a bit. ..
Stand Off by Patricia Bradley did not disappoint. It was full of mystery and intrigue, a lot of sadness and love too, as we got to know childhood friends Brooke Danvers and Luke Fereday. It's set on the beautiful Natchez Trace which has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As I attempted to solve the mysteries [Yes! More than one!] throughout the book the author kept me guessing and I was a little surprised in the end. [I think you will be too!] It's available now, I know you'll love it!
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher, Revell Books, for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
