I feel like it's been FORever since I've shared any scrapbook pages with you!
And part of that is because -
HEY - I just don't scrapbook as much as I did a few years back...
my little monthly group has dwindled away [as groups tend to do...]
and, sadly, I've not been motivated to get to it at night & weekends on my own...
That creative time is usually reserved for Art and Bible Journaling...
But! Two things have happened in 2020 -
I've found a local monthly crop that is WONDERFUL!
[on hold right now due to COVID19]
And --- I joined Stacy Julian's 20 in 20 class for the year!
So I'm happy to say that I have completed our 2018 travel album...
and have a goal of completing the 2019 travel album this year.
[I have several other scrappy goals with this class as well
- it's really the push I needed...]
One of the recently suggested projects was Ali Edward's Pieces of us [Me] project that she promoted several weeks back...
You might remember me sharing these on insta and FB in February...
Y'all know I like a little clear page now and then...
But I kept things simple... with just a bit of patterned paper,
titles printed on the computer,
and hand journaling on the cards that come with the album.
The only thing I purchased was the album...
everything else came from stuff in my craft room.
I love it's tiny size...
Honestly - when I participated in this 'challenge' I was just going through the motions,
taking the assigned photos with no real thought to them...
But as I pulled things together to put in the album,
I began to think about what 60 means to me
and where I am in life right now...
It really is a little album reflecting on where I am now -
and maybe, not stated - but also where I want to be
a year or two [or more!] from now -
but it's really all about trusting in God for me...
He holds our future...
I plan to move forward... always looking for the good, staying healthy... loving others...trusting God... hopefully showing His love..
and living life as I carry on...
Day by day...
