Easter looked a little different for us this year -

I found these cute little baskets earlier in the year and added a bit to them before giving to the  oldest and sweet daughter-in-law  when we go together [and shipping to the youngest.]
And I pulled together these little utility baskets for our young niece and nephew. - I wanted to get something they might re-use this summer... we'll see... They included a small bunny, one nice toy and just a few bits of candy... Oh and that whoopie cushion that I accidentally broke. ha.
Before we met up at their house we stopped by the Birmingham Museum of Art to see the Christ through the ages exhibit -
So cool to see art in all mediums depicting His birth, life death, and resurrection.
Little B hunting eggs with Aunt Lorna...
MK loving her basket from Aunt Lorna -
Family time - the best group photo of the day
bc we were busy enjoying each other...
Me and little B - he's a busy one!
And MK and me enjoying some peeps!
I know real peeps are chicks, right?
But I sure wanted bunny peeps for the tops of our cupcakes...
Will need to order them next year!

Sunrise Service has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember...
and here's proof in some things I found of mama's [while searching for old egg hunt photos.]
Love that in my earliest years the churches came together for one big service.
These last few years Craig and I have been enjoying the combined service with Monte Sano Methodist and Monte Sano Baptist up on the mountain. [And I love that we can hear the Catholic gathering singing praises across the way.]
Easter started out good and cold this year -
I had to pull out the winter coat...
After the sunrise service we headed over to The Shoals to be with Craig's mom.
Enjoyed service with her and lunch at a favorite place!
Love being able to share with family!
