Charcuterie Board.

Say it with me:
CHAR-cute-er-ree Board
LOL
I know I'm crazy, but I love to say it
and I think it's a funny little word for what
we've always called a meat and cheese board.
[Remember getting those from Hickory Farms years ago?!]
So. Apparently they are ALL the rage these days
and I've been wanting to give it a go -
I take a little get-a-way a couple of times a year with some crafty friends.
Yes - scrapbooking -
I STILL dabble in it a bit.
- mostly travel photos these days -
Anyhow - we each sign up for a meal and most recently mine was lunch -
I didn't want anything too heavy so I 'made' a green salad...
[ha - I opened a bag -]

and this charcuterie board.
Let's see if I can remember everything on it -
First, I got this [square] blue tray at Old Time Pottery for $5 -
then I gathered bits of goodness while shopping -
There's ham, turkey, and cheese chunks...
Peppers, olives, radishes, and carrots...
Apples, oranges, and blueberries...
and crackers...
And I cooked frozen spanakopita to add a little crunch and goodness.
... tried to keep it full of goodness that would top a salad well...
Garnished with whole radishes with stems.
So cute.
And the best part?
It was almost all gone.
And can be affordable if you shop Aldi's and Big Lots!
