This is the second book in the Line of Duty series
about Police Chief Tess O'Rourke
and I've got to say - there's A LOT going on in her little town.
The focus of this book is on solving the murder untimely death of an eighteen year old on his way to a bright future, but there are so many twists and turns I honestly wasn't sure what was going to happen each time I turned the page! She kept me guessing until the very end!
I especially enjoyed how Janice Cantore shared with us Chief O'Rourke's spiritual journey and developing love interest
[and I look forward to where this leads in the next book!]
I especially love this quote by Oliver: "I believe God speaks to every person on this earth always, every single day. Some listen, some don't."
