Faith Based Pages Challenge

Welcome to the Faith Based Challenges of 2013!
This year I'm sharing some of my favorite songs with you
to encourage you to create your own faith based pages
– whether scrapbook pages, art pages, or journaling pages –
create whatever you’re led to do!
And I’d love to have you share them with me!
I know I've shared before that
the Summer of 2007 was a tough time for us as a family.
One or both of our parents was hospitalized for 12 weeks --
The Lord gave this album to me to listen to while on the road
back and forth and back and forth
[and back and forth]
 – and it spoke to my heart.
I love to listen to it still.
So I want to share some of my favorites with you this year!

ON MY KNEES

 Love the lyrics -
On My Knees Lyrics
Artist (Band): Nicole C. Mullen

There are days,
When I feel
The best of me
Is ready to begin
Then they're days,
When I feel
I'm letting go,
And soaring on the wind
But I've learned in laughter or in pain,
How to survive

I get on my knees
I get on my knees
There I am before the Lord that
Changes me
See, I don't know how,
But there's power
When I'm on my knees

I can be in a crowd,
Or by myself.
Or almost anywhere,
When I feel, there's a need
To talk with God, he is Emanuel,
When I close my eyes,
No darkness there
There's only light

I get on my knees
I get on my knees
There I am before the Lord that changes me
See I don't know how, but there's power
In the blue sky
In the midnight
When I'm on my knees
I get on my knees
I get on my knees
And there I am before the Lord that changes me
I don't know how, but there's power
When I'm on my knees
When I'm on my knees.

It really speaks to the unexplainable peace found in prayer -
Hope it touches your heart too!

Thanks for sharing this! Prayer is so important in my life. I feel so blessed to be able to talk to the Creator and know that He hears me! It's always good to hear from someone else who feels the same. Suzi #5563
