Once a Month [old stuff] Giveaway!

I know this is a bit late -
but there's a lot going on in October - and
Okay - so I [still] have bunch of stuff that needs to GO -
and I'm really tired of seeing the OMG abbreviation everywhere
[I try hard to make my mind read 'oh my goodness!]
so am hoping that we might also come to think of it as
'Once a Month [old stuff] Giveaway!
I plan to randomly draw a name from the comments on this post
and send that person a little bag of goodies that hopefully they can use
[new to them and all, you know...]
Just post a comment about your favorite post in October!
Time's up at midnight [central x] Friday night.

Wow! To pick just one is hard! I like the tradition you have for your dad's birthday. What a nice tradition. Your whole blog is great! I, too, try not to even see the OMG. I just taught my niece (7) why not to say that about 6 weeks ago, and I haven't heard it since! Yea!

Thank you for the chance to win some "new" things to play with.

I really have 2 favorites so I hope that is ok? I liked the cookie recipe because I love Pecan Pie. I have to make your edited version! I also loved the Faith Based project. Many women of the churches in my denomination do "Advent By Candlelight" the first Sunday evening of December. It is an Awesome evening program different each year of singing, eating, readings and fellowship. The main focus is to get you in the mind frame of what the season is all about so that you do not get stressed out about decorations, gifts, etc. It really helps you to ENJOY every minute of preparing for the holidays remembering what Christ has done for us.
