my common place book -
I
start the month by covering the calendar spread with things I want to
focus on that month... I usually pick out a quote I've saved on my
phone
and search a scripture to support this...
Again - filled with notes / journaling... memes... and photos,
with some things hidden underneath those adorable cards from Brandi...
we're studying through Romans on Sunday mornings right now...
with some things I want to keep off the internets [smile]
Trying
to highlight the little 'happies' in my life - like the white pelicans
that visit our areas each winter... It's always fun to see them!
The
Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal and we round table share something
everyone must add to the page... I love how everyone's comes out a
little [a lot!] differently...
Week Three -
Week Three -
I added a sketch of my favorite little backyard visitor.
Inspired by the quote in the lower right... and some photos of my Mama M and her sweet friend * through the years [*who was also her sister-in-law, our sweet Aunt Annie.] I added in some photos of my mama and her sisters too...
Plus lots of Mama Zelda, our Thomas Dambo Troll here in Huntsville....
Another art journal page between weeks - Inspired by the quote in the lower right... and some photos of my Mama M and her sweet friend * through the years [*who was also her sister-in-law, our sweet Aunt Annie.] I added in some photos of my mama and her sisters too...
I am blessed to have grown up with this circle of women -
Week four -
A
bit of honest journaling here [again, stuff I don't want to put out on
the internets.] I also sketched out a little hot fudge cake [under the
bottom right card there] that Craig and I enjoyed while we were headed
home one day...
I find it amusing
that I lived on Lewis Street when I was young... and now live on Louis
Street... Properly pronounced Lou-eee, but us southerners pronounce them
both the same.
Have a great month, y'all!
