Memphis KOA
I-55 North in Arkansas
We've stayed here before and think it's a nice little stop-over spot.
With international over, it was time to hit the road and head back to 'bama... We got an early start and enjoyed some [gifted] home-made pumpkin bread in the car for breakfast...
We'd originally planned to stay overnight at the Lambert's RV Park but we arrived earlier than we'd expected so we decided to enjoy a nice lunch and continue on down towards Memphis...
And their food is pretty good too.
It ended up being a long travel day and the sun was setting as we pulled in to the I-55 KOA just outside Memphis. [but that meant we had a much shorter travel day the next day -and that was nice too.]
It always feels like home when we can stop and enjoy
a fluffy home-made biscuit from Jacks.
[A somewhat local hamburger place that has excellent biscuits too.]
And they really are made fresh every day!
And they really are made fresh every day!
Yum.
This was such a fun week.
The longest we've camped at one time - and we truly enjoyed every day in our #AishlingtheAirstream !!
Already looking forward to more adventures!
