Aishling the Airstream Update No. 008

 Mystic Springs Airstream Club
McDavid, Florida
From their FB page: Mystic Springs Cove is located on the Escambia River, in McDavid, Florida. We are a quiet, rural getaway with 50 large sites that have full hook-ups. We are not far from the Gulf of Mexico, the Naval Air Museum, and just a couple of hours from Destin.
And from Air Forums:

Mystic Springs Cove Inc.is an Airstream park located on the banks of the Escambia river, near Pensacola,FL. The park is sponsored by members of the Pensacola Florida Unit of WBCCI. This 10 acre park retains a rustic atmosphere. Approximately 1 mile east of US Highway 29 just south of the limits of McDavid, FL. Mystic Springs Cove is open year round and has 58 spacious sites, 50 sites with 30 amp electric (some 50 amp available), water and sewer. Most sites are shaded by stately moss draped oaks. Some pull-through sites are available. Pets are welcome if on a leash.  Mystic Springs is more of a campground than a trailer park and does not sell lots. A campground host program is available.

[Sorry - it's the best photo they sent me -]
We were there with the Alabama Airstream Club -
We're affiliate members and this is the first opportunity we've had to camp with them, and it was fun to get to know fellow airstream owners...

Mystic Cove is a wonderful rustic campground!
We've been here a couple of times before and it's great for camping with a group!

I LOVE THE AZALEAS IN THE SOUTH!
So glad we could be there when they were blooming!
The azaleas were gorgeous while we were there!
These are some that had fallen off the shrubs -
And the decorating committee made beautiful table decor
out of the natural florals available all around !
I won't lie - it was a rainy - misty weekend...
so we were very happy to have their wonderful club house to hang out and visit in -

We brought along our dominoes and
had fun playing a couple of evenings -

AND Y'ALL KNOW I loved having my little convection oven
to bake biscuits on a misty morning!
[I love EVERYthing about our #AishlingtheAirstream - just sayin']

We had a scheduled lunch in Pensacola
where we enjoyed some good Irish food!

Then Craig and I drove over to rainy Pensacola Beach -
For some reason, we don't get to this beach very often...

No toes in the sand this trip -
Wet sand is just not my thing - ha.
We did a little thrifting... a little light house chasing [lol]
-- It's BRIGHT from across the bay, y'all!
And then we headed back to the cove -
FUN FACT: there's a  little local campground down this road
that has some sweet rustic sights too...
I love a good woodsy campground -

And I love that Mystic Cove has an area set aside to
encourage you to recognize our God of all creation -
All-in-all a good weekend!
Here's a photo of the
Three Judys -
Judy - Judy - Judy
We've all heard THAT all of our lives - lol

But it was a rainy one -
and while we don't really consider ourselves fair weather campers...
It was good to get out of that wet sand - ha -
And start planning for our next adventure!
