 Gathering of the Times

Pete Whitley planned an awesome gathering of vintage campers 

and we were able to visit with so many friends we've met through the years!

There were pot-lucks, concerts, cowboy nights, campfires,

 

yard sales, [this is where I bought a camera like the one I first used -]

and we even planned a vintage airstream breakfast to share with everyone about The Vintage Airstream Club.

[SideNote: Craig had recently had surgery on his hand...]

2nd SideNote: I said in the past that the only way I'd return to this [sun field] campground would be if we stayed in the wooded area - yippeee! 

It was a great site!

LOVED visiting with sweet friends around the campfire...

But the highlight of the weekend for me was pulling together the pancake breakfast with DJ and George, sponsored by The Vintage Airstream Club - 

 

George and Craig cooked pancakes and sausages for a couple of hours

and we had a crowd, y'all!

   

We served pancakes, cooked apples, whipped cream, fresh fruit, and sausages...

It was wonderful share VAC with everyone!

We also enjoyed the cowboy evening and playing a round or two [or more] of Mexican train dominoes with sweet friends we don't see often!

We're looking forward to being there again next year!
