to get together with like-minded friends back in May!
And these gals were wonderful!
Thank you! Thank you! to Shanna and Tiffany for creating an outstanding creative space that is free from drama and is all about honoring our Lord.
We started each morning with a short devotional -
A great way to start the day!
[After w DELICIOUS breakfast prepared by Tiffany!!]
Then moved on to classes taught by these three outstanding artists!
Go check them out:
I so enjoyed learning from each of them and getting to know them too.
[screenshot from a video - lol]
We stayed BUSY
but every moment was good.
I enjoyed seeing 'old' friends and getting to know new ones at my table - loved seeing how everyone encourages each other!
And I visited with the table next to me so much that
I popped into their table photo too!
How could I not when most of us were southern gals?! lol -
Another photo of new friends from Georgia and Tennessee -
Isn't the Whatever House gorgeous?!?
[Especially once the THOUSANDS of moths have settled down
- AM I RIGHT?!?!]
We had time to enjoy the peonies in bloom [learned to water color one too!]
Ours at home had bloomed the month earlier....
and OF COURSE we did a little fabric and antique shopping!!
- I picked up this little folding table, bread box and brownie book!
Craig was nice enough to drive into town and get Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus
for us before the store closed for the weekend -
And one cannot go to the Whatever House without
getting a selfie with the rainbow stairs!
It's a TREAT [in more ways than one] for me to enjoy this get-a-way with sisters in Christ. I'm already looking forward to the next time!
