Blind Trust from Natalie Walters
... at first it
seemed to be just some 'routine' investigations
by the special agents at the
SNAP agency... Agents we all love
[those of us who have read the first two books in the series...]
But after a few chambers I was pulled into the story
of Lyla Fox and learned that there was some much more to the current
investigation involving threatening letters from a man she helped put in
jail - and who was now dead.
Lyla is full-steam ahead in anything that that she perceives to be a threat to others... and especially those she loves... Which is a little hard for Nicolas to accept because he hates to see her putting herself in danger...
Throughout the book the layers of intrigue just kept
unfolding. I'll admit there were surprises jumping out at me all along
the way...
Of course Lyla and Nicolas end up solving it all in the
end...
but the things they learn along the way make for a great read!
I love how Ms. Walters bring the faith of her characters into her books...
I mean, these people have HARD jobs, dealing with life or death situations more times than not... and their prayers before leaving for the office each day?
They are an inspiration -
We should all pray this way regardless of what our day-to-day tasks look like -
This is a great book -
