The Deep South Caravans Spring Rally

at Davy Crockett State Park

Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

was a fun time!

Here's some photos in no particular order - lol -  

Love the woodsy areas in the park - especially in the spring!

I'm loving the little shelf I picked up on sale at Hobby Lobby! 

We have plans to add some family camping photos and swap a light with #LordALfredtheAirstream , so I'll post those later...

Lawrenceburg is home to an Amish Community - and it's really nice to see how the local people welcome / accommodate them. [We saw a covered area at a shopping center where the horses could be out of the sun...]

And y'all know Craig is going to have a campfire!

It's always beautiful when he throws the secret ingredient in!

[Although I'm not sure I can water my flowers at home anymore...lol...joking!]

And Peter and Craig have become the best pancake making duo - especially now that we know we don't need to turn our gas all-the-way-on for heat. ha.

We did have one stormy-ish night...

But we were the only ones who took shelter in the bath house...

[A couple moved their rigs under some nearby shelter in case of hail... ]

I really enjoy cooking on our blackstone!

Quick and SO EASY to clean up!

I made a gourmet meal of grilled cheese and tomato soup for those who stayed Monday night... I'm a 'real' cook - haHAha

We enjoyed a short trek / hike with friends...

Although I only made it about a mile 

bc my knee was still a bit 'off' - but it's getting better every day! 

[Craig carried our garbage to the dumpster 

on his stick like a hobo before we got started...]

Oh - and anytime there's a gathering of campers 

we have a potluck / pitch-in meal.

SO MANY good things to taste!

And there's almost always BINGO at the events we host.

Craig enjoys shopping for prizes and it's fun to see what each person chooses! 

- And yes, we use macaroni for markers - lol -

So that's it - another fun event at Davy Crockett State Park!
