Annie Lee the Argosy Update No.075

We decided to leave The Gulf a day early due to some storms heading in
and we made our way up to Lake Eufaula in southeast Alabama.
Craig had always wanted to see this campground
so we planned a quick overnight stop -
We arrived in between two lines of storms
[that sadly caused tornadoes and deaths in other parts of our state]
and got set up in this [HUGE] mostly paved campground
that was still pretty soggy from all the rain.

Our site was right on the water of Lake Eufaula -
[I really wanted to see an alligator!!]
The campground is outside town a bit, and with more storms heading our way we opted to eat at the State Park Lodge Restaurant...
and I have to say - don't.

We made it back home just as the sun was setting...
And enjoyed snuggling down in #AnnieLeetheArgosy -
our nice little home away from home.
The next day the skies were clear and
we were up early for our drive home.
Lake Eufaula State Park Campground
My take - Clean and neat.
Lodge is beautiful -
Boat ramps and campground appears able to accommodate hundreds!
Bathrooms - clean and neat -
Cell / Internets: very good.
