If you love Biblical novels

you'll love this new book from Jill Eileen Smith!
Daughter of Eden
This is the story of Eve, written like a novel...
with a lot of imagination about what her life was like, both in and out of the Garden.
Overall, I liked it because it helped me understand circumstances of her life...
her desire to be the best she could for God, for Adam, and her children, despite the hard life they lived once they were out of the Garden.
Eve struggled with her past and the regret of deception...
Yet, she finally came to terms with the thought that
God's boundaries were for their protection...
Her relationship with Adam changed...but ended in loving well.
And she had conflicting feelings about loving her son
in light of the sin he committed...
She knew sin intimately, but also knew God
still had a relationship with her [albeit, different...]
All in all the author, Jill Eileen Smith created a good story based on scripture,
weaving passages from both the old and new testaments into life.
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher for review purposes.
All opinions are my own.
If you love Biblical novels, you'll surely enjoy this one - go ahead!
