Body of Evidence
Yes! It's another wonderful book from Irene Hannon!
[An exceptional author in all genres!]
I've read many of her books and I so enjoy getting to know each
of her characters, even when it's hard for me to keep up with every one
...
It's kinda like moving into a new friend group -> they're all
interesting and wonderful and she's does such a great job pulling them
all together!
In Body of Evidence we find Grace, a forensic pathologist, and Nate, the local sheriff join forces to solve some murders... but we all get to know so many others in the community [it takes a village -] as we follow along on the romantic suspense. And I enjoyed getting to know each one as much as the 'main' characters.'
A favorite quote, "He would deal with whatever the future held. Because when people believed in you, they gave you a gift all the ... money in the world couldn't buy. It was called confidence. And hope."
Throughout the book we see
forgiveness, greed, the social issue of elder abuse, and okay, YES, [of course!] a
love story too.
And even though I was pretty sure about the murderer's 'profile' this book kept me guessing until the very end! What a surprise!
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher
[Baker Publishing Group] for review purposes.
