Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 068

Let's talk a bit about the
Sweetest Little [vintage] Camper Rally
at Honeycomb...

We decided we wanted to host a little gathering closer to home...
So why not share one of our favorite places with our camping friends?
Honeycomb Campground is a favorite place of our
- in the spring and fall -
WE gathered together vintage camping friends to enjoy a weekend with us... and I think we had about 40 rigs there...
And y'all know Craig loves a good campfire
[I do too]
So we enjoyed inviting everyone to our site to enjoy
the moon over the water, good conversation,
and s'mores, of course!

These two also cooked pancakes and sausages one morning.
[Yum.]

And we've learned that if you cook for people [and keep the coffee flowing]
they will hang and visit to enjoy a leisurely morning as they get to know each other better...

And that's what camping is all about, right?
During our camping events, we sometimes provide an evening meal
[if not, everyone pitches together for a pot luck meal on evening -]
At Honeycomb, Craig cooked up a great big shrimp boil -
And it was delicious!!
Afterwards we all played 'vintage camper' bingo
and everyone won LOTS [ANDLOTS] of prizes!

Some of us enjoyed showing off our logo wear -
It was fun to have it in an on-line store
so people could buy what they wanted...
And I love my leggings!
And then, you know it -
Back to another campfire.

It really was PERFECT weather to enjoy it all!
Craig and I love camping!
And we really do have fun hosting events!
[Am thinking we'll be back to Honeycomb next year -]
Honeycomb Campgound

Water sites are wonderful!
Bathrooms: clean enough
Cell signal: excellent
Nearby towns are fun to explore
-------
I also wanted to share a little update on our #AnnieLeetheArgosy -
Brother made this beautiful butcherblock to cover her stove...
and I'm LOVING it.
It gives me a bit more usable space and
makes everything look clean and neat.
[Also note the round tray [Pottery Barn] on the wall - used birthday money from Mother to splurge a bit on that - and love it too!]
