If you enjoy action-packed

stories that tackle some tough issues,
then this book is for you!
Honor Bound, from Hallee Bridgeman tells the story of Dr. Cynthia Meyers and Captain Rick Norton who meet in war-torn Africa. She is trained to save lies and he is trained to use whatever force is need to protect lives...
They are brought together as the village she is in comes under attack after she is unable to save the life the the warlord's son...
And as the action increases the oppressor realizes her identity as the daughter of the vice-president of the Untied States which increases the danger to not only her, but also those around her.
To her dismay, she must not only evacuate, but also take an active part in assisting with the evacuation of American Soldiers who had been injured during the conflict...
Their escape from the area is filled with action and intrigue...
And yes... developing feelings between Dr. Meyers and Captain Norton.
I enjoyed how Hallee took on the tough subject of Christianity and using violence to protect our government [and citizens] as Cynthia herself struggled with some sort of understanding of NEEDING this protection while also desiring peace with her whole heart.
I also enjoyed how the story leaped every few weeks as the relationship between Cynthia and Rick ebbed and flowed as they accepted their love for each other.
Note: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher for review purposes.
ALL opinions are my own.
And my opinion is - This is a great book.
It addresses moral issues we all face today -
If you love a book full of action, belief in God... and yes, love...
then this book is for you!
You'll not be disappointed.
