Riverbend Campground

Hiawassee, Georgia

In those North Georgia Mountains -

So beautiful!

Last month we hosted a vintage camping gathering and had a ton of fun - 

With about 40 rigs there - all adorably cute!

OF COURSE we gathered around a camp fire - 

And the weather was JUST RIGHT for it!

We also enjoyed a meal out with friends - 

After we checked out some places in nearby Blairsville...

 

But we mostly enjoyed relaxing at our campsite right on the creek...

 

And feeding the [teenage] ducks that came to visit every afternoon at 4 pm sharp.

[Mama stayed close by, but never came to eat...]

And eating toasted marshmallows, of course - YUM!

We had a lot of fun with our group including dinners, campfires, 

bingo! and a duckie race in the creek -  

Craig always does a good job planning a great schedule!

 

But we also made time to just enjoy our time together - 

And we love those mountain views!

My take: This is such a sweet family-owned campground that we've had rallies at in the past. The sites on the creek are wonderful... they've also got lots of sites that are not quite as rustic. Bath houses are always clean and neat.
