Annie Lee the Argosy Update: No. 040

 Oh. My. Goodness.
I've got to get back on track documenting Annie Lee's adventures...
More for my memory keeping than for anyone who's interested, I'm sure...lol...
So, let's catch up a  bit -
Manchester, Tennessee

This was a Vintage Inn Campers event back in June, and Leslie** and her family ALWAYS do such a great job making this a fun and welcoming weekend!
Unfortunately it was a wet and rainy weekend...
with puddles of water EVERYWHERE.
But that didn't stop us from getting out scooters out and enjoying it all.

We've wanted to camp at Old Stone Fort for a while
because we love it's rustic 'out-in-the-woods' feel!

[It's also the first campground where we visited a vintage event before getting our #LottieScotty - AND it has a pretty neat wooden bridge that we love,
even if it's closed to traffic these days...]
We arrived the day after the wonderful woodsy [RAINY] wedding we helped with and I was very happy to relax with a good book and rest my foot a bit.
And I know we say it / think it all the time - but we still enjoy THE SPACE in #AnnieLeetheArgosy SO MUCH. It's just so nice to have separate living and sleeping spaces [and a bath, of course!]

The rain calmed down enough for us to enjoy a couple of outdoor gatherings
for meals, yard selling, and meet and greets...
and we feel much more comfortable in groups
since we've had our vaccinations...
Leslie** always has the cutest goodie bags and decorations that reflect her theme at each event. I especially loved this rag tied peace sign - too cute!
Our take on the campground:
Sites can be short and close to trees [we had to change sites becasue we could not get out awning out at the reserved spot.] Sites / roads are paved and clear of debris. Bathrooms were update and clean. Internet / cell service is good.
Manchester is a great little town to explore -
**Note: Our sweet Leslie has been fighting cancer these past few years
LIKE A WARRIOR and proclaimed God's goodness
until she recently went home to heaven to live with Him forever.
Please keep her family and friends in your prayers.
