Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 013

Our weekend in Rock Island was our third 'real' camping trip in Annie Lee and I enjoy it more each time... partly because we're continuing to organize and arrange things to meet our needs...

Here's a couple of changes we've made since last month -
We painted the fridge yellow to match the stove and counter top. I realize it's not for everyone...but I LOVE IT. Future plans are to replace the top piece so we can add magnets to it like a 'real' fridge. ha.
We [and by 'we' I mean Craig] also added shelves in the pantry and with a little help from Matt we got the microwave in... Again, LOVE IT. It's so nice having some real storage for these appliance we use every single time we camp.
[We believe in roughin' it, dontcha know - ]
Also, our 'food box' sets to the left above the tire well -
When we camp we tend to keep the food we bring along in one easy to access box so I love that it has a place to be tucked out of site, much like we had in a couple of other campers pre-LottieScotty. Right now we're using the existing shelves for our salt /pepper, spray oil, ziplocks, my sodas [I prefer at  room -temp - y'all know I'm weird,] and bug spray easy to access...
And I'm not sure if I've shared these photos of the living area with the TV installed -
The yellow chair is handy as a foot rest and when we dine inside... and the rug came from a seconds store [$12] a few months back. In fact, I took it with me the last time I traveled for work and painted most of the pink flowers golden yellow in my hotel room after work each night.
Again, I know it's not for everyone -
but I love to mix patterns!
We created a bit of art work to cover the TV when not in use -
It also protects it when we are traveling...
Our 'to-do' list is still long and grows / changes a bit each time we camp because we're adapting ideas to fit our needs... someone was talking this weekend about the desire to get a vintage camper but wasn't sure if they could handle all the restoring / changing -
and we both said the secret [for us] is to get one that doesn't need a lot of work -
We also agree that it's best to get one you can camp in as you continue to work out the changes and updates to fit your needs.
Whatever - just get one!
New or old  - ha.
It's wonderful way to get out and about
during these social-distancing times...
[PS - we are still so UNDECIDED as to what color we want o paint her...]
