Annie Lee the Argosy Update No. 007

So, of course - we're starting with the basics -
But first I had to share this photo of the gorgeous
cotton candy sky we had recently!
Now to Annie Lee - we [and by we, I mean my sweetheart] have been hard at work cleaning things up a bit - The first thing to go was that awful blue paint around the windows.
[Note: we're also testing paint colors... what do you think?]
I can't remember what he used - but it sprayed on, was kind of gel-like
and worked well as long as it kept wet.
And then it was just a little work to scrape all that nasty paint off.
We think the windows are so [soooooo] pretty with the steel showing through!
WE REALLY LOVE THOSE WINDOWS WITHOUT PAINT!
[This is also what they look like without the rock guards on ---]
And look! This stuff does a pretty good job of getting the paint off the shell as well... Although, we're still not sure what the plan is for this --- do it ourselves? Pay someone else? And what color...
That may depend on who does the painting...
But the most terrible, horrible, awful, very bad task
he's had so far is removing the belly pan.
Honestly - he looks happy here, but the truth is that he practically
put on a hazmat suit to clean this stuff up.
[Side note: look at those gorgeous windows up front with the rock guards up!]
IT WAS AWFUL.
But he got it done!
And I'm so appreciative!
Now... on to the next thing...
